Question

Can you explain more about doubt? Because I never seem to have this hindrance.

Answer

What do you want it for if you never had it? It's enough work with the others! But maybe you just don't realize it. OK, doubt, doubt is a wavering. Doubt is a not knowing. Doubt is a being "stuck," we don't go further. These are characteristics of doubt. Doubt can often lead us the wrong way because we start doubting the right way, and somebody can easily just pull us off track if they want to go a different way. But in general, most people know when they have doubt because they are really stuck. There is just no knowing which way to go, they just go back and forth, back and forth, back and forth with decision making and so on, and there is no clear way to go. Doubt is the more important hindrance, you have heard me say that before, too, because it can stop us, it can just totally stop us. One of the most important ways to work with doubt is a friend, to have a good friend.
