It's for male adults, for male kids, for female adults, for female kids, for the old 105-year-old, for the little 2-year-old child. It's for every one of us. Now granted, the 2-year-old child may not be able to understand a lot yet, but the parents can help teach the child about Buddhism. It's for everyone around the world. It's also not a the kind of religion which separates people in our world. It's more like a science, a philosophy, or teaching that gives anyone, regardless of sex, religion or age, a way to live more skillfully and methods to purify their mind and heart.
