Question

Can you please translate Wat Kow Tahm?

Answer

Mountain Cave Monastery. That sounds neat, doesn't it? Mountain Cave Monastery. Wat is monastery, Kow is mountain, and Tahm is cave. In case any of you have never gone there, at the far lookout when you are looking over to Koh Samui, you are standing up on top of a huge rock and it sits on top of other rocks. And below there is basically a Kuti, a little hut, I call it a hut but it's not really a hut. There is a bed and there is a bathroom, and it's a place where some monks sometimes stay. That is what we call the cave here. It is not a proper cave in a mountain but it is a cave that is underneath a rock overhang and you can walk through it.
