From the scriptures I have read, there isn't much written about dreams, except auspicious dreams. Auspicious dreams meaning that, say, the Buddha's mother, before she conceived, dreamt of a white elephant coming into her womb, for which the white elephant meant the Buddha. There are some other auspicious dreams written in the scriptures. This also goes to Thai folklore. Some of the things I've heard said about teachers, who had auspicious dreams, had spiritual meaning.
I've also had some dreams which I would interpret as auspicious, with spiritual symbolism. So what I read in the scriptures is not so much the psychological meaning of all these different dreams, but more the spiritual, auspicious dream that often will foretell some event.
