Question

There are two parts to this question. First part; is unsatisfactoriness a curse or blessing? It keeps us on the search, keeps us meditating.

Answer

That's kind of true, isn't it? If you had no Dukkha, you wouldn't be doing this practice. You would be blessed-out, you would be happy, happy. And this is exactly the problem that is said to exist for people who are too rich, too wealthy, have everything, they don't want to do this practice. So as much as we don't like unsatisfactoriness, as much as it is definitely unsatisfactory, it is what we need in order to develop a spiritual practice.
