Question

When I greet a monk or a nun, how high do I wai? Or for a normal person?

Answer

The Thai tradition for saying hello to your friends is just holding up your hands to your chest area, for your teachers or people you respect you bring your hands up to mouth area, and for the Buddha to your forehead. Maybe they have a little variation but that's what I know about it.
