Question

Why do you include "I'm sorry" as part of your three magic words?

Answer

Because saying "I'm sorry" is part of acknowledging that we may have caused difficulties for others. By saying sorry, we acknowledge our responsibilities and express that to someone else. This hopefully helps the other person in the process of forgiveness and helps ease our conscience as well. Those two words are quite important to communicate to the other person that we are feeling some regret. It usually helps to renew relationships.
