Question

Is the intention the most important thing for developing the Paramis?

Answer

As the Buddha is recorded to have said: "Intention I say is Kamma." So if we want to develop beneficial qualities the intention is very important. Because if we don't have good intentions, then we may not be developing the Paramis at all. We may be developing unbeneficial qualities. So intention is extremely important. "Intention I say is Kamma". And this is why we keep on coming back to this; it depends on your intention, it depends on your intention. I say it a lot.
