Question

What are some practical ways to develop generosity?

Answer

: Give. That's practical: Give! Give whatever you can! Give materially if you can. Give money if you can. Give your time if you can. Give your work here, labor, and whatever. Specifically, if you looking for specific advice, which has to do a lot with your own lifestyle, that has to do a lot with your own money assets that you have in the bank, how much money you have and so on. There is a lot of other advice that cannot be just given as a practical way, specifically in front of a lot of people because they will vary for different people. But in general, if you have lots of extra money then you've got that area that you can use as a practical way to develop more generosity. If you've got extra time in the evenings, in the weekend, give something with your extra time. If you've got skills you can donate, whether it's building, wood-working or whatever, then do it. Whatever you can. The last talk of our twenty-day retreat is titled 'Do More'.
