Renunciation is more of the act of giving up. Resolution or Determination are more focusing ourselves in a certain direction and deciding to go in a certain way. It may not have to do with Renunciation, it may actually have to do with developing something. So Resolution is more the making up the mind about going a certain way and bringing up the energy to do that. Putting strength behind our energy.
