Question

What is "wif"?

Answer

Wif. The word is spelled W I F. This is a word that we have invented. It is for everyone who wants to use death reflection in their speech. Most of the time people will say, "I'll see you tomorrow", "I'll see you next week", whatever. But we want to get away from that, because it makes a very deep subconscious level where, "I believe next week is coming", "I believe next year is coming" and so on. Now, Rosemary and I plan to go back to Thailand. Somebody else would say, "Rosemary and I are going back to Thailand on Sunday". There is this automatic, "I'm going back, that is the plan." "I am planning to go back", that is the truth. "I am going back", but that may or may not happen. But I am planning, that is true. Now the word wif comes from the expression, "when and if everything is ok I am going back to Thailand". So it is a slightly big phrase that makes sense, you can say it all the time. Yes, when and if all is ok we are going to walk out of this room. How many of you have thought you may not walk out of this room? Right, so this is it, this is death reflection in our speech. Wif is a short form short form for "when and if". And for a lot of our old students when we write emails back and forth, the word wif is in the email. It is very good to think in this way, because you are actually reminding yourself over and over, that the future may not come. When and if all is ok then maybe we will walk out of this room. Wif.
