Question

Can you please explain Patience and Equanimity and the difference between them?

Answer

Patience may or may not have Wisdom behind it. Equanimity usually always has Wisdom behind it. Patience is the ability to wait, but it may just be a type of endurance, whereas Equanimity normally has the Wisdom and objective awareness supporting it. It is very difficult to be Equanimous unless we have some insight into the Three Characteristics of life: non-self, impermanence and Dukkha. So Patience could be based in just Compassion, not wanting ourselves to suffer; but it may not have insight behind it. I believe. So Patience is the ability to wait and Equanimity is more in-line with the understanding of the characteristics of life.
