Question

The long eight worldly dhammas meditation last night, though an avid story maker, daydreamer, I found my imagination lacking when trying to find some of the examples to reflect on, What do you think this is?

Answer

Just lack of experience really. When we are reflecting, we may not be able to bring up a memory or situation straight away. But that doesn't mean we don't ask that question later of ourselves and try to go more deeply into that reflection at another time. These are suggestions for your practice. You may not be able to do it perfect the first time, but that's what the practice is all about: repeating, repeating, repeating.
