No, we don't really know much about the meditation centers in Malaysia. One thing I will say is that, if you are keen on Theravadin Buddhism, which is what's taught here, then certainly Thailand is the number one country in the world for this practice. There is a lot of support of Theravadin Buddhism within this country. 95% of the population, about 55 million people are Theravadin Buddhists. So it's the most Buddhist per population. Burma has a large majority of Theravadin Buddhists, Sri Lanka has a majority of Theravadin Buddhists, but they are not anywhere near the same percentage as that of Thailand. Malaysia has only a very small amount of Theravadin Buddhists because it's predominantly a Muslim and Christian country, with a small minority of Chinese Buddhists. So when you're thinking about where you can find this type of teaching the most, then it's clear to first consider the countries that are predominantly Theravadin Buddhist. This is not to say that there might not be a good teacher in Malaysia, but we don't know any.
