Question

When someone good, young, and healthy dies, a victim of violence, is it his Kamma? Is it his destiny? What is the difference between destiny and Kamma?

Answer

Kamma is our actions, speech, or thoughts, that we have done, it's all in the past. We are making Kamma right now, and then it becomes in the past. The fruits of Kamma, the results of Kamma, will come to us in a similar way as to what some people refer to as destiny. So Kamma is what has been done in the past. Results of Kamma, or in a sense our destiny, is what comes to us.
