Could you, please, talk to us about the importance of mindfulness in daily life?

I did this really a few minutes ago, the whole stress factor, building up stress, knocking it down, being mindful, grabbing that door, being mindful brushing your teeth, being more body aware.

Okay, do an experiment right now. Shut your eyes, I just want you to nod with your head a yes or a no, when I ask these different questions: Can you feel your bum on your pillow or your mat? Can you feel your hands on your knees or your lap? Can you hear my voice? Can you feel your lips touching each other? Now, open your eyes. When I did that, for any of you, was there any problem? No, there was no problem when you were just mindful of the feeling of your bum, mindful of the feeling of your hands, mindful of hearing a sound, mindful of the feeling of your lips. There was no problem. Mindfulness can do this, and more, for you.
